Pupils paid tribute to a young boy, who died in his sleep, by doing his favourite dance move.

Children and staff at the Sir William Robertson Academy, Welbourn, performed a dab in honour of six-year-old Daniel Harris, of Fernwood.

The dab was Daniel’s favourite dance move and since his death, just before Christmas, people worldwide have been performing the dab and posting their pictures online with the hashtag #dab4daniel.

The tribute at the Sir William Robertson Academy was done during a fire drill and captured by an aerial drone camera.

Many of the pupils are from the Newark area and requested the dab tribute.

A non-uniform day next term will raise money for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance, in memory of Daniel.
