Newark's Palace Theatre sees return of Charlotte Hudson School of Dance show
It was lights, camera, action for pupils at a Balderton dance school as they took to the stage for its annual show.
160 performers from Charlotte Hudson School of Dance took part in Get Ready 2022 at Newark Palace Theatre.
The dancers, who were aged three and up, completed routines in ballet, tap, theatrecraft, jazz and acro in a range of dazzling costumes.
The school’s principal Charlotte Hudson took over from her predecessor Charlotte Hamilton last year upon her retirement.
Charlotte said: “I had big shoes to fill taking over from Charlotte Hamilton after her retirement, but I think we have done her proud.
“It has been a challenging year with students missing classes due to covid cases and having a four-month-old baby, but students went out and performed brilliantly.
“I am so proud of each and every one of them.”
Classes run from Monday to Saturday.
