Children's author and TV star David Walliams releases audio story every day as part of Audio Elevenses

Best-selling children's book author and TV star David Walliams is read an audio story every day for a month.

The World of David Walliams is releasing an audio story from The World’s Worst Children every day for the next 30 days.

As well as being a judge on Britain's Got Talent, Walliams has penned tales for children including Gangsta Granny, Ratburger and The Boy in The Dress.

In a social media post, The World of David Walliams said: "Keep the kids busy with these daily audio treats, perfect for tea-and-biscuit breaks."

The feature started yesterday (Monday, March 23) with The Terrible Triplets read by Walliams and impressionist Jon Culshaw.

It comes as Walliams prepares to release his next book 'Slime' on April 2.
