This pile of rubbish has been found flytipped in Kirton.

Deck chairs, a garden table and pieces of wood were among this pile of dumped rubbish found on a track leading through the woods at Cocking Hill.

A member of the public spotted a white transit tipper leaving the area and reported it to Newark and Sherwood District Council.

A spokesman for the district council said: "Fly-tipping is a serious criminal office and carries a fine of up to £50,000 and five years' imprisonment.

"Your waste is your responsibility and if you pay someone to remove rubbish from your property and it’s then fly-tipped you could also be prosecuted."
