Newark and Sherwood District Council’s 89 service vehicles all run on diesel
The fleet a council uses for its services remains powered by diesel only at a time when it is promoting a cleaner, safer and greener environment and pushing for net zero carbon emissions.
However, the emission standards of the vehicles are at the top of what the European Commission sets out, equipped with engine filters that capture 99% of particulate matter.
Of Newark and Sherwood District Council’s 89 vehicles, including HGVs, LGVs and agricultural, all run on diesel.
