Donors needed

People in Southwell and the surrounding area are being urged to keep appointments at a blood donor session at Southwell Leisure Centre today.

NHS Blood and Transplant has noticed an increase in donors failing to attend appointments.

It is concerned that stocks can dip over summer because of holidays and people not turning up for appointments.

Sessions take place today from 1pm to 3.15pm and from 4.45pm to 7.30pm.
