Elderly resident questions cleanliness of Newark's Sir John Arderne Wetherspoon disabled toilet

An elderly resident has questioned the cleanliness of Newark's Wetherspoon disabled toilet, claiming the hygiene standard is ridiculous and a disgrace.

The 80-year-old, who did not want to be named, said he had raised concerns prior to lockdown in March when he found what he claimed to be puddles of urine on the floor of the disabled toilet in The Sir John Arderne.

"Before lockdown the toilets were in a state," he said.
