General Election candidates for constituencies of Newark, Sherwood Forest and Rushcliffe now confirmed after nomination deadline passed

The candidates in the upcoming General Election from across the Advertiser Area have now been confirmed.

Prospective candidates had until 4pm this afternoon (June 7) to submit their nomination paper to the relevant acting returning officer.

That deadline has now passed and the final list of candidates for the constituencies of Newark, Sherwood Forest and Rushcliffe have been confirmed.

The UK General Election is scheduled to take place on July 4.
