Christopher Carlin, of Carlin’s Cabs, in Newark, drives country's first Tesla Hackney Carriage taxi




The owner of the first Tesla Hackney Carriage in the country has encouraged other cabbies to go electric.

Christopher Carlin, of Carlin’s Cabs, who works mostly from Newark Northgate train station, said buying a Tesla was a no-brainer for any driver with a taxi coming to the end of its life.

“I’m the first in the UK to have a Hackney Carriage Tesla,” said Chris.
