Runners urged to take part in Caythorpe DASH half-marathon and 5k races on March 1
Entries are now open for a fundraising half marathon event.
Following on from the successful 10k event back in November, the Caythorpe DASH half-marathon and 5k races will take place on Sunday March 1, starting from Caythorpe Sports and Social Club.
The half-marathon will start at 10am, with the 5k starting at 10.20am.
Entries for the half-marathon are for individual runners and also for teams of four competitors, consisting of two women and two men.
Entry is £24, and dogs are also welcome to take part.
The 5k event, for competitors aged 13 and upwards, is £10 per adult and £6 for 13 to 15 year olds.
Live race results are displayed in the pavilion.
All half-marathon competitors will receive a medal and a goody bag, and 5k competitors will receive a medal and a certificate.
Trophies will be awarded to the top three female and male finishers in both races as well as the top three teams in the half-marathon.
The run is in aid of the Caythorpe Playing Fields.
