Newark Advertiser reader letter: District Council should extend free parking to other days

I note that Newark and Sherwood District Council has once again offered free parking for motorists on Sundays in December, presumably to encourage people to shop in the town.

It stands to reason then to assume the council believes free parking works as an enticement to bring people into Newark.

So why limit it to only Sundays in December?
