Children in Need mascot Pudsey Bear visits students at Newark Lovers' Lane Primary School




A visit from Pudsey Bear spread some extra joy to pupils at a primary school.

Thanks to Newark Round Table, Lovers’ Lane Primary School, Newark, pupils were visited by Pudsey Bear for Children in Need.

The yellow bear visited all the children in their classes.

The school said: “The children loved it. Their faces in assembly when Pudsey visited were amazing.

“The staff even had photos with him.”

As well as meeting Pudsey, the pupils also had the opportunity to wear non-uniform or pyjamas.

There were plenty of yellow and Pudsey-themed outfits for the day.

“The majority came in non-uniform and some were in pyjamas and onesies,” the school added.

The children paid a pound for the day, for Children in Need.
