Sherwood Police issue vigilance warning after theft of farm equipment




Police have issued a vigilance warning after farm equipment was stolen.

Sherwood Police, covering Southwell Bilsthorpe, Caunton and Lowdham, has asked farmers to be vigilant after a recent theft of a cattle trailer and a flat bed trailer from a farmyard.

Offenders cut through fencing and drove across fields to remove the items.

Farmers should also record any equipment serial numbers so that any stolen items police recover can be returned back to their owners.
