Almost £1,300 has been presented to Beaumond House Community Hospice




Money raised at a charity fashion show has been presented to Beaumond House Community Hospice, Newark.

Almost £1,300 was made at the event, staged by Lucky Secret Boutique, of Kirkgate, Newark, at Ann at Vin on Castlegate.

Boutique owner Sue Allen said: "Our local hospice has offered such necessary care, therapy and compassionate support to our community for over 30 years and we wanted to help this most valuable service. A huge thank you to all involved in making the event so successful and enjoyable."

Volunteer models showed clothing, scarves, jewellery and bags from Lucky Secret. Vix Shoes on Middlegate provided the footwear and the event also involved Honeytrap Lingerie of Cartergate and Younique make-up and skincare by Mrs T.

The hospice's community fundraiser, Cathryn Crane, said: " The Lucky Secret Boutique team worked very hard to pull this event together and Ann et Vin were just fabulous hosting the cat walk. A massive thank you to all involved in raising this amazing amount.
