Roadworks at Fernwood will no longer take place during the morning and evening peak.

Four-way temporary traffic lights are currently in place from the B6326 to the Goldstraw Lane roundabout, near Fernwood Business Park, with the exits at Fernwood still in use.

The traffic lights have been in operation from 7.30am until 4.30pm, however, from tomorrow (Friday, October 22), work will begin at 9am and finish at 4.30am.

The change has been made to 'avoid the morning and evening peak', according to Via, which provides highways, fleet management and maintenance functions in partnership with Nottinghamshire County Council.

It is the second timetable change in three days.
