Maplebeck Garden Fete to offer traditional entertainment in afternoon of summer fun

A traditional garden fete is set to be held this month, for it’s 42nd year.

After a two-year break, fancy dress, morris dancing and children’s sports will once again entertain guests at the Maplebeck Garden Fete, on Saturday, June 25.

It will be held in the grounds of The Old Vicarage, from 2.30pm to 5pm.

Activities will include tea and cake on the terrace, children’s fancy dress, children’s sports, a raffle, tombola, stalls and quiz.

There will also be games and morris dancing performances from The Micklebarrow Men.

Entry is £1 for St Radegund’s Church and the village hall, with parking available in the village.
