Good crowd at Collingham Show and Ploughing Match
Fine weather ensured a bumper turnout to the 167th annual Collingham Show and Ploughing Match today.
The traditional village show featured displays of livestock, vintage and classic vehicles, produce and competitions along with a dedicated horse ring.
Grand ring attractions included gun dogs, a heavy horse display, falconry, a British Scurry and Trials Driving competition, heavy horse judging and display and a fly ball dog agility.
The chairman of Collingham and District Agricultural Society, Mr Gary Shelbourn, said a lot of hard work had been put in by a dedicated committee of volunteers to ensure an excellent show.
"Ours is a country show offering a traditional family day out with something for visitors of all ages to enjoy," he said.
