Bingham firefighters attend chimney fire on Tithby Road

Fire crews attended a blaze at a property this morning.

Firefighters attended the chimney fire on Tithby Road in Bingham at 10.40am.

Crews used chimney gear, one hose reel jet and a ladder used for inspection purposes.

They encountered a blockage in the chimney and were left at around 1pm.

A re-inspection is due this evening.
