Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service engines get emergency make-over to encourage new on-call recruits

Fire engines across the county are being given a make-over to encourage new on-call recruits.

An engine from Bingham and a driver training vehicle at Highfields Fire Station will be the first to receive new wraps before others across Nottinghamshire have the same refurb.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service hopes the campaign branding, developed through the National Fire Chiefs Council, will increase awareness, target specific areas and attract aspiring on-call firefighters.

“All of our new designs meet the required safety standards.

“If you see a wrapped engine, why not take a photo and tweet it to us using the hashtag #NFRSWrap.”
