Newark Fire Station called to Harby building fire that started Monday morning




Newark crews have been summoned to the site of an ongoing building fire that started more than 24 hours ago.

Firefighters from Newark, Misterton and Warsop are in attendance at Wigsley Road, Harby, after crews were alerted to the large building blaze at around 8am yesterday (Monday).

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue are also on the scene currently.

An outbuilding and two pieces of agricultural machinery were destroyed in the fire.

Five pumping appliances and the water bowser from Worksop were used yesterday and a crew continued to monitor the fire overnight.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service has asked residents in the area to keep their doors and windows closed.
