First cohort of new apprentice firefighters at Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service step into action




The first cohort of new apprentice firefighters at Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service stepped into action.

Twelve rookies got started with an introductory team building exercise using fire equipment, as well as training on an assault course.

They will be spending the next 15 weeks working and helping each other through the tough and demanding training schedule.

Reacting to the update on Facebook, members of the public wished the apprentice firefighters luck for the future.
