First nominations submitted for Newark Business Awards 2021

The first nominations for this year’s Newark Business Awards were received within minutes of entries opening.

Eager businesses were quickly off the mark to ensure they were in the running for our awards ceremony later this year.

“We are delighted with the response in the first few days since entries opened,” said Advertiser editor Sharon Hodkin.

“Given the feedback I had received since our online ceremony in December for our 2020 awards, I knew there would be plenty of interest this year — and so it has proved.

“There is still plenty of time to enter and join our early birds in contention for the prestigious prizes — so what are you waiting for?”

Nominations are open today in 11 categories, covering all areas of business.

Entering Newark Business Awards could not be easier.

When you have decided which category/categories you want to enter, simply go to the dedicated website at www.newarkbusinessawards.co.uk

You can either enter your own business or nominate others.

There are two stages to the nomination process.

Initially, you will be asked to give basic details on the website.

Each nominee will then be sent an electronic entry pack to fill in and send back.

The closing date for entries is Friday, June 25, at 2pm.

Our independent judges will then decide the finalists in the four categories, which will be revealed in the Advertiser on July 15.

Following the announcement, the judges will visit each finalist and carry out interviews to decide the overall winners and a highly-commended in each category.
