A1 southbound near Newark down to one lane because of flooding

THE A1 southbound near Newark has been reduced to one lane.
One lane is closed between the A46 and A52 turn-offs.
It is closed because of flooding after heavy rain overnight.
Nottinghamshire Police are urging motorists to adjust their driving for the conditions by allowing extra time for their journeys and reducing speed, and allowing extra time for braking.
