Flooding is expected in Newark today (Wednesday) as water levels reach their peak on the River Trent.
The government has issued a flood warning for Tolney Lane, Tolney Lane caravan site and the town's riverside marinas.
Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours and water levels are expected to remain high until this afternoon.
It is advised that residents move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and follow advice from emergency services.
The area also saw flooding yesterday as a result of heavy rain over the weekend.
Further updates will be issued on the government website this afternoon.
