Jess Glynne to headline at Sherwood Pines concert
Jess Glynne has been announced as a headline act for next year’s Sherwood Pines concerts at Edwinstowe. She will play at the outdoor venue on Friday, June 28.
Jess joins Paul Weller, who announced his date for Nottinghamshire's Forest Live concert last month.
Forest Live is a summer concert series promoted by the Forestry Commission England and takes place in seven forests throughout the country.
Jess rose to fame performing hit Rather Be with Clean Bandit. Jess released her debut album I Cry When I Laugh in 2015, which has remained in the charts for 170 weeks.
She holds the record for the most number one singles by a British female solo artist.
Jess will be heading to five of the seven Forest Live venues, where the money raised from ticket sales helps to look after the nation’s forests sustainably.
Jess said: “I do hope you can join me in the Summer as part of Forest Live. I am really looking forward to performing in these unique woodland locations around the country”.
Tickets cost £44.50 (plus £4.95 booking fee) and go on sale 9am on Friday.
Tickets can be bought from Forestry Commission box office on 03000 680400 or online by visiting www.forestryengland.uk/music.
