Newark’s National Civil War Centre releases dates for Mini Museum sessions this autumn, from November 6 to December 18

Dates have been announced for a range of weekly activity sessions at the National Civil War Centre.

Mini Museum is run every Thursday morning during term time, across the Centre’ numerous galleries and the historic Tudor Hall, on Appletonegate.

The sessions, which are free from residents of Newark and Sherwood, are aimed at those under the age of five and their families, and will take place from 10.30am to 11.30am each week.

The sessions will take on a different theme each week, and will feature music, storytelling, and playtime.

Mini Museum begins this Thursday, November 6, with a castles and treasure themed session.

This will be followed by more sessions on, November 13, focussing on transport; November 20, on noise and sound; November 27, on cleaning; December 4, on camping; December 11, on pretend play; and wrapping up December 18 with a session looking at the seasons.
