Reader's letter: Free parking

So only a 1% pay rise for the NHS, after the government has praised them during the pandemic.

Is all the government can afford to pay them?

How about free parking for all NHS staff?

We are told the charges are for carpark upkeep. No it’s not. It is a cash cow for the owners of these carparks.

They don’t have 20-tonne lorries driving on the carparks everyday, staff just park their cars on arrival at work.
