Fuel shortages continue to bite with no petrol reported at some stations in Newark, Southwell, Saxondale, Bridgford or Cropwell

A number of petrol stations across the Advertiser area are reportedly out of fuel today (Saturday).

The queues of yesterday and issues with delivery and all-over shortages of HGV drivers have all led to pumps running dry.

The petrol stations at Saxondale and Cropwell Bishop on the A46 are out of petrol as are the two stations on the old A46 Fosse Way at East Bridgford, Southwell's BP and Asda Newark.

There are social media reports of a fight on the forecourt of the BP on Northgate, Newark, over fuel.
