Newark: Gas cylinders, planters and microwave among waste fly-tipped on Moor Lane, East Stoke
A rake, wood, gas cylinders, cardboard boxes, planters and even a microwave were among waste dumped illegally.
Newark and Sherwood District Council's team cleared up the mess on Moor Lane, East Stoke, yesterday (Friday).
The council has warned the public it takes fly-tipping extremely seriously and expects everyone to dispose of their rubbish responsibly.
It added: "Your waste really is your responsibility and if you’re paying someone else to take it away, you too have a duty of care to make sure it is disposed of correctly.
"Always ask to see a waste carrier license or use the council’s own bulky waste collection service.
"We will not tolerate fly-tipping in our district and will always take action when enough evidence can be recovered."
