General Elections 2019: Count results for Sherwood constituency revealed

The Conservative candidate for Sherwood, Mark Spencer, has retained his seat with a landslide victory.

Mr Spencer retained his seat with 32,049 votes, in what was the fourth time he had fought for the seat.

In 2017, Mr Spencer received 27,492 votes, so this year he won nearly 5,000 more votes.

The full results are:

Mark Spencer - Conservative = 32,049

Timothy Ball - Liberal Democrats = 2,883

Esther Cropper - Green Party = 1,214

Jerry Hague - Labour Party = 15,863

Simon Rood - Independent = 700
