Inspire Buttermarker brings crafts, music and free fun to Newark urban beach
Free crafts and music will serve up some summer fun at Newark’s urban beach this month.
Inspire Newark Buttermarket’s culture, learning and music teams will be heading to the seaside on August 14 and 15, as they swap the Buttermarket for sandy Newark-on-Sea in the market place.
Inspire will join partners Newark Town Council, Newark and Sherwood District Council and Newark Creates to deliver a host of free fun.
The multiply team will be challenging beach-goers to some Olympic themed crafts, or visitors can take part in musical adventures with the Inspire music tutors.
There will also be beach time stories and on Wednesday, August 14, only, attendees meet the mysterious Madam Galleon, as she roams the site magically manipulating her orbs of water.
Bring your bucket and spade and piles of imagination and the Inspire team will look forward to meeting you there between 10am and 4pm.
