Reader’s letter: Get yourself down to the pub

In response to a letter in the July 11 Advertiser — More Events To Light Up The Town — about more events and live music events needed in Newark.

I visited Newark on Saturday, July 13, from Northampton. We visited the Flying Circus public house which had two live music events on through the day.

The staff and regulars were great company.

One of the super acts, called Sock, are clearly destined for great things with their colourful take on rock music.
