A production of the musical Grease performed by pupils at the Dukeries Complex, Ollerton, was a sell-out.
Richard Harley took the role of heart-throb Danny with Sian Winters in her debut role of Sandy. Lisa Robson was cast as the pink-haired beauty school drop-out, Frenchy.
The director, Lucy Milner, said the audience reaction had been very positive and a lot of people had commented on the professional quality of the performance.
The co-director was Jen Mruczek and the musical director was Kim Knijn. Malcolm Waring was responsible for the sound quality.
