Handbag stolen from car

Police are appealing for information about two men in a black car who could be stealing from vehicles in the Carlton Scroop area.

The appeal comes after an incident in Hough Lane, Carlton Scroop, between 7.30pm and 9pm on March 10. Thieves smashed the window of a red Renault Clio and stole a handbag. Two men in a black car were seen backing up to this vehicle and then leaving the scene at speed.

Police would like to trace them and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with any information to contact them on 0300 111 0300, quoting incident number 470 of March 10.
