Reader’s letter: Hard-working pensioners hit

So this government is hitting the pensioners by stopping winter fuel allowance.

We are the people who worked for over 40 years to help in the manning of this country.

I worked in the NHS so it’s kicking us in the teeth.

Even the fuel going up this winter also.

So they should help us, not take it away.

Blame each other promise to help when they wanted our vote this year.

They don’t freeze, do they?

Stop the big pay rises they give themselves.
