Hedgehog Welfare, based in Foston near Grantham, reassures the public hedgehogs are still being cared for during coronavirus




An animal welfare group has reassured the public it is still caring for hedgehogs during the coronavirus crisis.

Hedgehog Welfare, based in Foston, said it has special measures in place to protect the animals at a time when the pandemic persists and hedgehogs are coming out of hibernation.

The group has asked people to always call first if a sick, injured or orphaned hedgehog has been found, and not to just turn up.
