Appeal for information following break-in at a shop in The Arcade, Newark




Officers from Nottinghamshire Police are investigating following a report of a burglary in The Arcade, Newark.

The incident is believed to have happened between 3.30pm on Thursday, February 13, and 10.20am the next day.

A shop was broken into and cash stolen.

It is believed that someone entered the property from an upstairs window, which had been smashed.

The Arcade was closed to the public and the gates locked to allow police to investigate the burglary.

Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area at that time is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident 267 of February 14.
