Heroes recognised

An awards night to recognise the efforts of people who have made outstanding contributions to their community takes place at Fernwood Village Hall tonight at 8pm.

People can vote for their Fernwood hero by collecting a voting form from the hall.

There will also be a Christmas party from 6pm, including present-giving by Santa.

The parish council is donating £250 towards the event.
