Magnus Church of England Academy, Newark, is seeking historical items and memorabilia for its archive

An archivist is seeking donations of items and artefacts to preserve in a school’s dedicated archive.

Magnus Church of England Academy archivist, and former pupil, Roger Peacock has recently completed a move of the academy’s archive to a new location in the Newark school.

Following extensive work to catalogue and protect the historical artefacts relating to Magnus’ 500 year history, Mr Peacock is now seeking the assistance of the public ­— particularly former Magnus students ­— to add to the collection.
