Coronavirus home testing kits available for households with school-age children from Newark Sports and Fitness Centre
Home testing kits for households with school-age children can be collected from the Newark Sports and Fitness Centre testing site.
The centre, off Bowbridge Road, is open for lateral flow testing with no appointment.
But home testing kits are also available for those who are eligible.
A Newark and Sherwood District Council spokesman said: "Please follow the advice of our staff around where to queue either for your test or to collect a home testing kit.
"Supplies are limited, so please show respect to our staff if they are unable to give you a kit."
About one in three people with coronavirus do not have symptoms but can still pass it on to others. Regular testing of people without symptoms is important to help stop the virus spreading and to protect people.
All secondary school and college students are being tested twice a week after returning to school with the easing of lockdown restrictions.
School staff and students' families are also encouraged to be regularly tested.
The Newark Sports and Fitness testing site is open Tuesday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, and Saturdays, 8.30am to 1pm.
Kits are also still available from the Castle House symptomatic test centre between 1pm and 8pm.
