Homes evacuated

Nine homes were evacuated in the early hours of this morning after a gas leak.
Police were called to Crookdale Lane, Calverton, at 4.30am by National Grid. Residents were asked to leave their homes and were taken to Calverton Police Station.
They were all allowed to return home at 6.30am.
