Hundreds at craft event
Hundreds of people attended the first spring craft show to be held in Southwell Minster on Saturday.
Similar events have been held in the cathedral in the run up to Christmas and have proved such a success that it was decided to hold a spring one too.
There were more than 60 craft stalls in the Nave selling a wide range of items including hand-made toys, sweets, jewellery, handbags, pots and paintings.
Exhibitors came from all over the county including artist and poet Mrs Jennie Searle of Woodbine Farmhouse, Sutton-on-Trent. She said that she had been to the winter craft fairs in the Minster so was pleased to come along to this event.
She said: "There is always a very high calibre of crafts here with everything hand-made."
