The Met Office has issued a yellow warning of ice for the East Midlands

A weather warning of ice has been issued by the Met Office.
With temperatures set to drop to almost freezing point overnight tonight, icy stretches are expected in Newark and the surrounding areas.
The Met Office has advised people to take precautions as there might be icy patches on untreated roads and paths, and to take care to avoid slipping.
