Reader's letter: In agreement

Regarding the article about Balderton Primary Health Centre, I would like to express my agreement with what was said.

I have had a few problems with my health and simply could not get in touch with them.

I don’t blame the receptionists who are rushed off their feet trying to deal with all the calls coming in.

When I finally managed to speak to one of them — after about three days — she registered my frustration and gave me an email address to make a complaint which I duly did.

I received the usual bland reply saying they were aware of the problems and were trying to put things right but covid had given them a lot of problems.

I am sick and tired of everything being blamed on covid when it suits.

I am told that they are under new management and cannot say that the old one was that good, but this new one is a total shambles.

It is not getting better as my wife tried to ring last week and it also took three days to get to speak to a receptionist, never mind any medical person. — JAMES WEALE, Fernwood.
