Reader's letter: In good hands

I had the misfortune of having to go to Newark Hospital early on Saturday morning with a possible fracture.

My heart sank as I saw a queue outside but that was due to them opening at 9am because of covid.

My treatment there could not have been better, from Guy on reception to nurse Sarah, and I hobbled out on crutches only an hour later.

The service they provided was excellent and all delivered with courtesy, humour and smiling faces.

Hopefully I will not have to visit our wonderful emergency team again any time soon, but if I do I know I will be in good hands. — EDWARD HINE, Screveton.
