The Ashiana Indian and Bangladeshi Restaurant, in North Muskham, has secured a win at the English Curry Awards 2025




A popular Indian restaurant has been named as one of the country’s best at a national awards ceremony.

Ashiana Indian and Bangladeshi Restaurant, of Bathley Lane, North Muskham, has cemented its status as one of the top 20 curry houses nationally with a win in the Best Restaurant of the Year category at the Curry Life Awards 2025.

The restaurant was founded in 2008, and has consistently earned high praise from customers and critics, with owner Saiqul Miah making a commitment to providing consistently good experience for every customer.

The awards ceremony was hosted by ITV broadcaster Nina Hossain, at the Marriott Grosvenor Square in Mayfair, London, and brought together the best of the British curry industry in one place.

Syed Belal Ahmed, editor of Curry Life Media Group, spoke of the high standard of this year’s winners: “The UK’s curry industry features some of the country’s most innovative entrepreneurs and restaurateurs.

“All of them have inspiring stories to tell, and they must be given the necessary support to grow and thrive.”
