Reader’s letter: Justify jobs

Ben Bradley is everywhere. Not only is he the MP for Mansfield but also the leader of Nottinghamshire County Council.

Now, he is a candidate for the new position of Mayor for the East Midlands (£4m Price Tag For Mayoral Election, Advertiser, March 21).

Ben Bradley seems to be talented but he should explain how holding more than one top position is justifiable and say if he receives a salary, a pension and paid leave periods for each. — MARK ILES, Newark.
