Public meeting on the future of Southwell Leisure Centre to take place at the Saracen's Head in Southwell.
The location of a public meeting about the future of Southwell Leisure Centre set to take place today (May 22) has changed last minute.
A public meeting regarding the leisure centre will take place today (May 22) at the Saracen's Head, Southwell.
The meeting will start at 7pm at the hotel and restaurant’s Minister Room.
It will be hosted by Jeremy Berridge, Peter Harris and Karen Roberts, who will be acting as councillors at the meeting.
The meeting seeks the public views on the future of the leisure centre as it returns to the control of the town after Newark and Sherwood District Council confirmed that it wished to negotiate a surrender of its lease and exist its involvement with Southwell Leisure Centre.
Initially, the meeting was set to take place at Southwell Rugby Club, however, the club was unable to host the meeting, which led to a last-minute location change.
