Newark and Sherwood District Council’s licensing panel to make decision for Corn Exchange this week




A decision on the future of Newark’s historic Corn Exchange will be made this week.

Newark and Sherwood District Council’s licensing panel will meet on Thursday to decide the premise licence for Corn Exchange Newark Ltd’s plans.

The company is looking to convert the Castlegate premises into a food court upstairs with a bar and gaming area on the ground floor, and a cocktail bar with small dancefloor in the basement.
