Litter increase in parks across Newark and Sherwood as Covid-19 lockdown eases
The easing of the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown has brought with it an unwelcome upsurge in litter in Newark and Sherwood’s parks and open spaces.
Incidents include those at Farndon and Fernwood and the Newark and Sherwood District Council-managed parks Sconce and Devon in Newark and Vicar Water in Clipstone.
This picture (above) was taken at the seating area outside the Farndon Ferry by an Advertiser reader. She said it needed to be shared to the public.
